Backyard Owl Watching

Hello!
You have no idea how ecstatic I am to have owls in my backyard every evening! Today they were sleeping in a nearby tree all day, so we could go over and peek at them. It is official we have a Mom and 4 babies, named Sarah, Percy, Bill, and Ted (from the book Owl Babies and the movie Bill and Ted).

Makeover!

Hello,
This is a repaint job that I did for my Mom. We found this cement sculpture on kijiji, brought him home, and gave him a make over! He certainly looks better now!

Watercolour Ponies

Hello again!
These are a couple horse pieces that I have done in the past couple days. I love drawing and painting horses, it is nice to get back to them! The top one is done with pen and ink, and the bottom one is painted with watercolours. I used reference from pictures I found online. Enjoy!

Our Resident Owls

Hello!

Our Eastern Screech Owls have been seen nightly! My Mom is very excited! So is our friend, Tiffanie (http://birdsinmybackyardandbeyond.blogspot.ca/) We had a great time last night looking at our 5 owls, 4 raccoons (one adult and three babies), and a katydid! Enjoy the pictures!

Hello!

I took these pictures Friday night. I was home alone and saw them flying around in my backyard. There have been about 3 or 4 of them, parents teaching the young ones to fly. My whole family saw them again last night! They are Eastern Screech Owls.

Day with the Horses

Hello again!

This post is a lot of horse photos, so I put some under the cut. These were taken at our church picnic on Sunday, where I spent most of the time with the horses and chasing snakes! It was a fun time though!
