Appearently more people look at this blog then I originally thought! So thanks everyone!
This painting is another Oil on Canvas, it is on the same wall as the owl from last time. I did this painting a couple years ago. I love painting wolves! they are so fuzzy! Snow is fun too!
I finally got around to taking some photos of my new paintings. So I will try to get them on here soon! Don't hold your breath though!

Great Grey Owl

Hey! long time no update again. I have a cold at the moment, along with most of my family. So that's not much fun.
This painting is in our kitchen. It's another Oil on canvas. Obviously it is an owl, and I had fun doing it.

Eat your Fruits and Veggies

Hey there!

Today's art piece is a mural I did at the University. It took me about a week and a half to do and is done in acrylic paint. I got $1000 for it. I had to paint it while on a scaffolding cause as you can see on the second picture it was fairly high up! The mural is at the Marketplace in the Student center, above the salad bar. I hope I never have to paint another pepper again! They want me to paint the whole room in there but the manager is still looking for permission from the board. Hopefully I will be able to go back and paint for them some more! I had a blast doing it and all the people who work there were very nice!I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Storm Front

Hey there! Hows everybody today! the weather today is very nice. Bright and sunny.
Today's painting is another Oil on canvas, the picture is the Phantom Stallion book cover, they are a book series by Terri farley. If you want to check her out her website is www.terrifarley.com She is a wonderful author and I have most of her books, except for a couple of the phantom stallion ones. I've read that series like three times, the first series is 24 books, and the second is 11 books! They are really good! Anyway, I hope I'm not breaching any laws putting this picture up! This painting is hanging in my room above my chair. I really like it. Thats all for today! Have a good one!

Two by Two

Hey y'all!

It's really rainy today so I have been sitting around all day pretty much. We went to church this morning, and our Senior Pastor is engaged! Yay! haha ok I'll stop gushing now!

Todays pictures are from a mural I did at my church. It took me a little over a week to do, and it's worth about $850. I had alot of fun with it! Everybody likes my wolves, and the zebras took me forever to do! mostly all those stripes! hope you enjoy!

teardrops on my maple leaf

Hey!
again long time no post. I totally stink at this!
This is a photo I took on vacation in haliburton. it was a rainy day and I was sitting on the dock. I like the contrast between the water drops and the woodgrain. It would be a fun photo to paint someday!
I am considering teaching art classes at my church! just a way to make some money seeing as I can't seem to get a job. But I need to talk to some people first. Hope I get to updating more often now!

Elk Sighting

Hey everyone!
Man I am soooooo bad at this!!! Sorry for the lack of updates! I always forget to!
This is another Oil painting, of an elk. I took the photo in Banff National Park last year. So yeah it's yet another oil on canvas. I love using oil paints, they blend really nice and the colours are wonderful!
I have a job interview this afternoon so I hope I get it. Although I did get paid for a mural recently...$850 will help towards tuition nicely!
